i slept at 10pm last night and i just woke up.

Was supposed to go out with lyds yest cos she asked me out.
but apparently , she got grounded or something like that.

and have you noticed that my fonts are quite big in this post?:D
thats bcos when i edit the font size at my blog template,
the words get all weeiirrrddd.

so i've decided to just edit the fontsize in this post and see how it goes.

but i want to!

its so tough to get the perfect blogskin.

anw,
although didnt get to go shopping yest with lyds,
it was a great day yest. =DDDD

and i spent quite alot of money on just , STUFF.
First,
i took a cab to NAFA to register for my course which costed 10 bucks
(entry test is on the 3rd of mar for FYI. SOOO SOON! hummpf.)
then i went to meet mummy at little India .
i bought super nice bangles for 9bucks at this nice shop near peace centre.

super nice shop that caught my attention instantly

i bought the blue ones. :]

and i went to do waxing (for 45 bucks)!
at the usual threading place me , sherri, dora and yingying used to go.
HOHOHO!
I did of course NOT brazilian waxing. just full leg waxing.
yeapity yeap.

and now my legs feel like BABY SKIN!
muahahaha! :]

I tell you. the first few tears of the waxing strip was like PAINFUL!
It felt like were many ants biting on your legs.
and they were BIG ANTS.

bt then, as it goes on,
you kinda start getting immuned to the pain and its not painful animore.
In fact, it started to get quite shiok!(cos of the warm wax on my skin)
lol.
the indian (pretty okay! great facial features with acute brow-bone and deep-sunken eyes. )

The lady first spreads warm wax(not candle wax! but some oily,sticky,smooth brown wax) on your legs,
places the white strip thingy on the wax and...
CHHAAAA! the leg hairs are pulled off.
lol.sounds horrific. and LOOKS horrific too !
lady was nice :) i was so nervous at first bt she like spoke words that calm me down.

Then there was something hilarious.=DD

mummy smsed me while i was at the midst of waxing

mummy: "amanda, since you are there i think you should wax your eyebrows too."

laughing like siao as i reply :" wax?? you know wad is wax? it means removing of all the hairs leh. you want your daughter to have no eyebrow izzit?"=D

mummy:"haha oh sorry! i meant thread. you should thread your eyebrows since you're there."

so yea, mummy drove us home then went to pick my brother(reuben) and daddy up for ..

steamboat near Tan Kuee Lan street.

BCOS, it was Reuben's burdae!!

the Ma La Huo Guo(steamboat) is really making me salivate! :))

We could choose 2 diff soap base for our steamboat .Cos apparently it was some kinda "yuan yang" thing.

and its only 15bucks nett per person!!

and its buffet style! yumm~

So yea,the steamboat place has all sorts of people.

But mainly china girls and guys.
Gorgor was like staring at this old man with a young china lady.

so i was like :"your eyes so big for what? "

mummy was laughing out loud when i said that.

then he said in a serious face:" you see , she must be some callgirl.hais."

He is like so BUAY ZI DONG.

haha.

the ma la huo guo was goood.

and it seemed like only me and daddy knew how to eat it.

my mummy and brother kept saying its so "MA"(tongue-numbing) and spicy hot that they're not gonna eat it again.

but i couldnt get enough of it!

the whole secret to eating Ma la huo guo is to NOT eat the numbing-pepper-seed-like-pieces!

mummy kept eating that and she kept complaining that its so numbing.

"thats bcos you're not supposed to eat the seed! " i told her.

and the seed are NOT normal pepper seeds.(mummy kept insisting they are)

i've tried eating normal pepper seeds , and they are not.

they are in fact the sichuan pepper corns.

So yea,
after eating,

we headed home early. (cos daddy had to do his project work and my brother wanted to study*yea.so guai huh? only these few days study lor. the other days were just DOTA.)

and then , i fell asleep.

..once i reached home.

hahah.

you copy my "luh" .
copy my "hahahah"
every single word in a sentence is like similar to mine luh.
like where a fullstop or an exclaimation ends.
and its quite obvious that you're copying me.
and wad ,
tok to me like ,
you're so cool with MY words?

although i hadnt really TRADEMARKED my words.
bt still....
HAVE SOME ORIGINALITY AND STOP BEING A COPY CAT will ya.

me and my close friends also dont have that much similarities with the spelling of our words can.

Just finished checking out NAFA(Nanyang Academy of Fine Art)'s website.
made myself read up EVERY single word so that i dont miss out any vital information.

im here to blog about yest's movie.

SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOODD!.

Yuenyun, Renee,Leo and Joshua Chua and I went to watch Dreamgirls after church.
For musical lovers, DREAMGIRLS is such a MUST WATCH! (not trying ta say church is not a must come of course.)

We sat at the first row for your information! (It was uncomfortable but COOOLL luh. cos it was my first time sitting on the first row.ahah! though its nothing to be "cool-ed" about .haha! -.-"

can you see how far our legs went? and our a*ses were on the edge of the seat/.

Yuenyun and Joshua who sat on my left/.

unglam me and mary (my row of teeth.named my teeth mary a long time ago if you really pay attention. gladly, Yuenyun remembers :) i got reminded by her that i named my teeth mary.lol.

distance between my legs and the movie screen. neck super -uber aching den.

Dreamgirls is like a LIVE MUSICAL la! but on screen .

I tell you,
Dreamgirls was SOOO GOOOD , it started to get boring at the second half of the movie.
cos, the girls sang SOO WELL in every song , they reached every high note( of course only done with many many retakes in the recording studio) , reached every climax of the song , and accompanied the singing with such real (acted real) emotions that the movie became boring.

BUT! boring in a good way.
cos every song throughout the movie is SO GOOD!
so good ,so good, so good, ..= boring.

And if you're gonna watch the movie soon,
you'll have to look out for this scene(you may not even have to look out bcos you will also agree that that scene is so GOOD.) where Jennifer Hudson stood alone on stage and sang with such immense emotion about her boyfriend aka managrer leaving her (in respect to their relationship and her singing career).SOOO good. SOOOO GOOD.

(you can feel this song better in the movie, cos you can see her expression exasperation..the ending of this song is excellent luh.)
if it was really LIVE, i would have stood up and shouted :" Bravo! Bravo!" (trust me, i will! haha. i super buay paiseh with this kinda things one xP)

and ,while typing on my "Jamie" (trying ta imitate Shao),
i was watching the Oscars
and i saw that the leading girls, Beyonce Knowles , Jennifer Hudson and this other woman(i forgot her name) made a performance on the Oscars!

SOOOOO GOOOOOOODD!!!

Im flabbergasted !
(Wong Lilin's "my flabber is gasted " on The Dance Floor is so LAME.)

The other songs that was mentioned in the oscar awards include also :
- "Listen"
- " I Love You I do" and,
- "Patience"

This afternoon was supposed to go play badminton with Leo and guys.
ahah.
but i was such a pig and the thought of having to travel to clementi made me very indecisive.
lols.
i didnt really decide not to go.
but when yuenyun called,(early wakeup call)
(i dont even remember if i answered or not!.)
i smsed her saying i wont be going.

LOL!
and i smsed her in quite an unconscious state of mind!
so i was quite unsure about what i was typing.
so yea,
when i woke up (which was a bout a few hours later)
i was like :"aiya! why did i say i wasnt going! big poopoo!"

Then,
at about 9pm+,
while i was browsing the web trying ta read up information about the different courses,
DARYL LOW CALLED!
POOPOO. :)
he kept forcing me to go to the DXO party. :)
said go for him and all that..he's such a joker luh.
Lyds also kept asking me to go.
I sort of said "ok la, later, later, later i go kae" :)
But then i was busy and stuff reading up and comparing the different courses so
HAHA!
time dragged till bout 1am +
and here i am blogging.
THUS, just smsed lyds saying that i wont be going alrd.
(wasnt interested in the first place (partly cos not many ppl i know is going) and its kinda late alrd.)
PLUS! there's church tmr!
i'll be a siao kia if i still go la!
reach home will be bout 5am+ then tmr morning still must wake up for church kay.

actually,
i have a tinge of a longing to go .Lol xD
(bcos i just finished reading up on the poly courses too)
Bt then, yea, :)
dont wanna waste money taking a cab there and back and then go to church tmr without concentration.

HAPPIE LNY/CNY!

I told you i have grown fatterrr!!!!!
dont lemme hear you say " no la , not fat la.. where got?" again.
I BOX YOU then u know ah.
lols.

I received a few feedbacks frm relatives that i have grown fatter!
my uncle said : "amanda! you increased weight! good good! its good!"

Both uncles from my father's side of the family said i have gained some fats on the face and on my overall figure compared to last year.
GASP!-.
